Introduction of baby food

Being a parent is not an easy task. There are so many confusion in mind whether we give them packaged food or homemade?

Is homemade food complete their daily nutrition requirement?

Do this food make child growth & built their immunity strong?

How much and what time we feed our babies? Do we continue breastfeeding after start solid food?

These all questions are in my mind.

When my elder baby was of 6 month, I was really confused about all these stuffs.

But, now I will give you all the information from my experience. I have two children and I always want to give them healthy and nutritious homemade food.

Below mentioned is baby feeding chart:

  • 6-7 months 2-4 Tbsp
  • 8-9 months ½ cup
  • 10-12 months ¾ cup
  • 12-24 months 1 cup

Note:

  1. Always consult your doctor when you want to start solid food to your baby.
  2. Always start one fruit or vegetable at a time, as baby become familiar to taste and also develop their tastebuds.
  3. Keep a gap of 3-4 hours between every feed/meal of baby. After every meal water is very important.
