This is yummy and healthy smoothie recipe. Making smoothies is really a fun. Pumpkin taste is not too good but by adding apple, it really very tasty. Apple gives sweet taste to this smoothie. So don’t add any extra sweetness.

Pumpkins are very healthy and easy to digest.

  1. Pumpkin is high amount of vitamins , minerals and it in low in calories.
  2. Pumpkin also have antioxidants.
  3. Pumpkin boost our immune system as it is rich in vitamin A and C.

INGREDIENTS:

Apple – 1/2 (peel and chopped)

Pumpkin – 2 Tbsp (peel and chopped)

Method

  1. Take a pan put ¼ cup of water and add chopped pumpkin and apple covered and cook for 6-7 minutes till it soft.
  2. Cool it at room temperature.
  3. Take a blender jar add cooked apple and pumpkin and blend it smooth paste.
  4. Adjust consistency and ready to serve.

Note:

1. If you want to store for 1 day than keep it in airtight glass container in freezer. When you want to feed took out 1 hour before.

2. Personally, I Iike to have a fresh smoothie as its very yummy and quick recipe. My son is big lover of smoothie. When he want, I make immediately for him.

3. Always start with one fruit as you can understand like and dislike of your little one.

4. There is no side-effect of consuming apple pumpkin smoothie.

5. 6- 10 months babies are not required salt.

6. Babies are also not required extra sweetener in their food. Fruits are naturally sweet.
