“Ginger” is very popular spices in Ayurveda and in our daily life. Ginger tea is best home remedies for cold and cough.

“Ginger” as a spices used in Indian foods. It gives nice taste to our recipes and also have medicinal benefits.

In ancient ayurveda people use ginger as herbs for its multi beneficial properties.

Everytime I heared from my Naniji (grandmother) in my childhood about this ginger tea, as a home remedies of many health problems in our daily life.

As I am a lover of ginger tea, I take a cup of ginger tea everday. For me it helps to burn my belly fat.

In this covid-19 situation. Corona virus spread very fast and change in climate cause many viral infections. This is very effective to boost our immunity for protecting ourself from cold-cough or flu. Hot ginger tea will helps you to fight with all the infections.

Ginger is also a super food which boost our immune system strong. It has properties of antimicrobial which helps to reducing pain.

Benefits of having a cup of ginger tea daily:-

INGREDIENTS:

Fresh ginger                        1 inch (grated)

Cinnamon (dalchini)          1 inch stick

Lemon                                   1

Honey (organic)                   1 tablespoon      

Water                                     1 cup                     

MATHOD:

  1. Take a teapot, boil 1 cup water. Add grated ginger and cinnamon stick in boiling water, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes in low flame.
  2. Strain the ginger tea into a cup and add 1 tablespoon honey and lemon juice, stir well.
  3. Serve hot ginger tea for good health.

Points to Remember:-

  • As this is a natural and safe. And lots of benefits but there is some side effects also if you consume excessive amount.
  • If you have allergic from ginger or piles problem or any other health issue than always consult your doctor before taking this drink.
  • Diabetes people don’t add honey. It will increases sugar levels in blood.
  • Pregnant women must take doctor advise before talking ginger tea as sometime it raise the risk of miscarriage.
  • Extra menstrual bleeding has been sometime noted while using excessive ginger tea.
  • Ginger increase the insulin level and lower the blood sugar level. So, take only small quantity.
