
Today I am going to share a very easy and quick recipe of kale chane or black chickpeas. In this lockdown I got a fracture in my leg. I am not able to cook food at time. My husband never cook a single dish through his past. He have no interest to making food and he never face such type of situation in past.
But now this is the time of lockdown nobody can come and help us. So, I discover some easy and tasty recipe for my beginner, my husband.
One of the best dish or recipe is kale chane with jeera rice is favourite of all. We enjoy this tasty kale chane. There is no need to fry anything or no need to make tadka.

INGREDIENTS:
Kale chane 1 cup
Onion 1 medium (fine chopped)
Potato 1 medium
Garlic 4-5 cloves
Bay leaf 1
Red chilli dry 1
Cumin seed / jeera 1 teaspoon
Hing 1 pinch
Cloves 2
Cinnamon/dalchini 1 inch
Oil 3 tablespoon
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Haldi 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
Garm masla 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon/ as per taste
Coriander leaves fine chopped
METHOD:
- Take pressure cooker put kale chana ( soaked for overnight or 6-7 hours drain and wash with clean water and remove it from water).
- Add fine chopped onion, bayleaf, jeera, hing, cloves, cinnamon, red dry chilli, garlic crushed or you can use garlic paste, salt as per taste, coriander powder, garm masala, cumin powder, oil, haldi powder, potato peel and chopped into 4 pieces and 3 cup water.
- If you want add tomato then add 1 small tomato it is totally optional. Here I am not adding as we not like sour taste too much.
- Now close the lid of pressure cooker, cook for 4 whistle on medium flame.
- After 4 whistle turn off the gas and let it for cool.
- Once the pressure release open the cooker and mix the well.
- Now put in a serving bowl and garnish with green coriander leaves.
Enjoy this spicy kale chane curry with jeera rice or plain rice or you serve it with chapatti or parathe also.
