INGREDIENTS:

  • Whole wheat flour 2 cup
  • Jaggery/ Gud 1 cup
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Refine oil ¾ cup
  • Baking powder ½ tsp
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon powder ¾ tsp
  • Water ½ cup

Method

1. Mix all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl (whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder) and sieve for air formation.

2. Mix jaggery, curd and refine oil very well until jaggery completely dissolve in it. Now add the dry ingredient, mix in one direction with light hand, add some water as per requirement to make flowy consistency.

3. Put the batter in greased tin. Heat a cooker for 10 minutes in medium flame put a small iron-stand, now place the cake batter tin in pre-heated cooker for 30 minutes.

4. Put knife in the center of cake if it come clear than the cake bake completely, stand for 10 minutes and serve.
